Your journey towards understanding and healing begins here.

Hello and welcome, I am Lorraine....
My approach
I work relationally, which means the relationship we build is at the heart of our work together.
I don't believe you need fixing, and I'm certainly not here to tell you how to live your life. You're the expert on you.
My job is to help you make sense of things, notice patterns, understand yourself with more compassion and support you in making the changes that feel right for you.
Sometimes that means talking through difficult memories.
Sometimes it's learning practical ways to cope.
Sometimes it's laughing because, despite everything, life can be ridiculous.
Usually it's a bit of all three.
Who I work with
I work with adults experiencing things like anxiety, low mood, ADHD, autism, binge eating, emotional eating, burnout, relationship difficulties, chronic pain and those times in life where everything just feels like it's become too much.
A lot of my clients have spent years trying to hold everything together while feeling like they're failing.
They're not.
They're exhausted.
Why this work matters to me
Alongside my training, I also bring lived experience.
I'm neurodivergent myself and live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), fibromyalgia and persistent pain.
I've also experienced disordered eating and know how much shame can come with struggling around food or feeling like you're constantly battling your own mind or body.
I don't bring these experiences into therapy because I think they're the same as yours—they're not.
But they do mean I understand what it's like to live with things that other people can't always see or understand.
You won't have to convince me that you're exhausted.
You won't have to explain why masking is draining.
You won't have to justify why chronic pain affects your mental health.
I get it.
Therapy with me
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on.
You don't need to worry about crying.
You don't need to apologise if your brain goes off on a tangent halfway through a sentence.
You definitely don't need to pretend you're fine.
We'll work together to understand what's been happening, what's keeping you stuck and how life can start to feel a little lighter.
No judgement.
No pretending.
Just honest conversations in a space where you can finally be yourself.
If that sounds like the kind of therapy you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
